Candied Bacon! This place is outstanding and never lets me down. Their menu, ever changing, is one of the best in town. Last time I went I had a salmon dish and it was fantastic. One of our favorite things to do is go to the happy hour on Fridays. Great deals on bourbon and other drinks and they always have a special on a specific bourbon they want to showcase. Oh, get the candies bourbon bacon with peanut butter... so good 🤤

Amazing food locally sourced. Extremely delicious and well prepared. The most amazing selection of Bourbon I've ever seen. All very reasonably priced. Therefore VERY popular. Suggest reservations. Superb and on par with very best Lexington has to offer without the exorbitant price.

First time there. Just had drinks and appetizers. Crab dish was great. Staff friendly and helpful.

One of the best spots in town! Consistently delicious. Warm & inviting atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff especially Chris, the manager (and bourbon expert) who goes out of his way to be helpful. Always look forward to our night out at OBC!

OBC is my favorite place in town. Service is excellent. Food is excellent. Employees are super friendly and can remember what you like with as many people as they see everyday. It's amazing.

Let me start with “wow”. My wife and I ended up at the bar due to an hour and a half wait on a Thursday night. The bartenders were efficient artisans and the bourbon list is never ending. But the food! The Turf & Surf appetizer is masterfully packed with flavor Nd texture and the Steak & Cake entree provided variety. We shared both and had leftovers for lunch. Special nod to Clint at the bar and the manager for facilitating our fantastic experience.

Loved OBC Kitchen. Had brunch on Sunday at the bar. Fantastic service. The food was awesome. My wife loved the mimosas. The staff is really knowledgeable in bourbon and I had a great time sampling some of their collection. Ended up buying a bottle of their private collection Makers Mark at a great price. Highly recommend.

Heavenly bourbon selections and fantastic food to go with it.OBC was on my bourbon bucket list! Frankly it exceeded my expectations. I’ve visited some great bourbon bars, but OBC is as good as it gets... anywhere... period.I had never even seen let alone tasted Old Forester’s extremely-rare Presidential release. It was available at OBC! Many barrel picks from the staff really add to the “hard to get bourbon choices” that make OBC shine!Service staff was great. Bartenders are bourbon experts willing to help newbies and experts alike.Food was great, also. Try’s the truffle fries appetizer.

It was my birthday dinner. My husband loved it. Everything was great, sat at Coach Cal's table. Food is excellent, wine too. Service is impeccable. We did go pretty late, so it was slower and fewer people, so we really enjoyed that it was quieter. It was after 9pm.

I hadn’t been to OBC Kitchen in yeeeeeears, but my boyfriend surprised me with a little happy hour trip there on Valentine’s Day afternoon. And now I’m a bigger fan than I was initially. Their happy hour is the best kept secret in Lexington, well, not anymore! On Friday from 4-6 they have a FANTASTIC list of $5 cocktails, beers, and wine, and in our case it was freezing outside so they also made mulled wine. We arrived right at 4:00 and not long after they started bring around FREE bar bites! They always bring out the bacon and peanut butter, but rotate the other two each week, so we sampled hush puppies with corn and shrimp and chocolate covered strawberries. Appropriate for the holiday! We spoke to the head bartender, a guy named Ivy, for the majority of our visit and he was super nice. I just can’t say enough good things. I’ll be back for a BRUNCH very soon!

Best dang Bourbon cocktails I've ever tasted! The food was equally awesome! I highly recommend the candied bacon app and any of the steaks.

This is one of the best places I have ever been to. Their food is phenomenal but it is the drinks that really set them apart, which is really a feat considering they are in KY. The whiskey sours and the old fashions were perfect. They were the best I have ever had at a restaurant/bar. They have s huge selection of bourbons and can make any drink you want. The waitress was fantastic and I will visit everytime I am in the area. I can't say enough about this place.

We tend to research and spent hours deciding where to dine out . But last night we were late, famished and looked up places to eat and this restaurant came up on our google search.. it’s rare that you stumble upon such great service and amazing food by just chance .. Though a cocktail bar they have ample space for private dining . food was delicious and relatively big portion sizes ..They also have an ipad with pictures of the menu which shows you exactly what your getting !! We had the salmon ( cooked to perfection) with a very refreshing salad , short rib tacos , one of the best bourbon honey glazed Brussels sprouts we have had ( no typical aftertaste without over frying it ) The mock tail - which was citrusy ( not on the menu ) just a minute creation by the bartender was one of the best we have had so far . Will be definitely back for more ..

Excellent bourbon bar. Great food. Great knowledgeable bar staff. They have every bourbon I could’ve thought of. Reasonable prices but not cheap. Happy hours are phenomenal.

AMAZING! The bartenders were amazing and super friendly and informative! Friday happy hours are where it’s at!! $5 Bourbon cocktails, $2.50 local beers and amazing sampling! Highly recommend!
