A remarkable museum of art given the size of of the city. Truly diverse collection that should appeal to anyone who appreciates art. One area everyone should see while there is the beautiful Peristyle Theater truly a sight to behold. The museum extends across Monroe Street highlighting the glass heritage of Toledo. Free admission parking was only $8.00. Close to downtown and many dining options.

Stunning collection year-round! It's a huge museum, admission is free (just pay for parking), and everyone that works there is so friendly. Highly recommend! I've taken photos of friends there and it's a gorgeous spot!Model/flutist: Coreisa Janelle Lee

Very comfortable environment with a friendly, helpful staff. The glass pavilion boasts quite a large collection of historic pieces as well as contemporary art. Heard a 90 minute piano recital in one of the galleries. The performing artist was superb and the room perfectly accommodated the audience. I drive from Cleveland to frequently to visit.

A good variety of art; friendly, knowledgeable staff. Took our Girl Scouts here, they had a great time. They really enjoyed the Light & Shadow, Music is Rhythm, & Global Conversations Exhibits. They staff answered all their questions and directed them to art work they might like based on their questions.

Take your kids to the family center! It really is an amazing place. They have tons of art supplies and kids can make whatever they can think up. There are volunteers there to help. They also have a play area with books, blocks, play food, puppets, etc. We also spent a lot of time in the hallway building Legos on the wall. Good time!

A great museum that is very accessible and easy to spend multiple hours just browsing along. I had never been there before, but I'm glad I took the time to drive up on a cold, blustery, icy day to see their Light and Shadows exhibit and the infinity room exhibit. The employees and volunteers were all very professional and helpful.

We love this museum and have visited at least 5 or 6 times. The collection is small but well curated. The glass collection and the netsuke collections are exceptional. This time I toke a glass class making a heart. It was great. The cafe food and service is great. What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday in February.

Certainly one of the best free art museums around. Spectacular and broad collection, well displayed in a beautiful building. Glass art center is unique and very cool--I got to see a free demonstration as part of their winter break programming and found it very entertaining and informative.

What can I say? No admission charge, pay for parking if no one in your group is a member, the only admission charge is for special exhibitions.I spent a lot of my youth going to art & music classes there on Saturdays. It is really a top-notch museum. It's closed on Mondays & a few major holidays. And don't forget to check out the Peristyle. Even if nothing is going on there at least go to the door between the museum & the Peristyle & look through the window.
