Kirby Lane is one of the best restaurant in Austin Great food, menu , the staff is the best , I have been eating at restaurant since it open, go there almost every day . That is the problem, they are too good . Wait is up to 2 hours wait , I would say they are one of the best restaurants in Austin , better than downtown and even better than Franklin Barbecue ( Franklins is featured on National TV all the time ). If a long wait does not bother you up to 1 1/2 to hour wait , please go by all means . The last 18 times , I have eaten there , only place I could find to sit is the counter . I would recommend to Kirby Lane is to go to other end of William Canon and open a new restaurant . . It would be successful in a matter of days, or either raise prices 10 % across the board , hopefully that would reduce this craziness.

It was busy on a Saturday, but they got us in pretty quickly. We had various breakfast item, and wasn't disappointed with anything. Their coffee was a little bitter, but other than that, it was an enjoyable morning on the patio.

This is the first restaurant we tried after moving from Boston about a month ago and loved it. Great menu, gluten free options and amazing portions to price ratio. Tonight after a hard days work I stopped off here for dinner with my fiance. After connecting with the manager Naz about what we do for work (we both coach a Junior National Olympic Swim Team) and how we influence our kids on the team he decided to graciously comp our meal. What an outstanding guy, good people still do exist! We will definitely be going back to support this local business and him!
