Delicious but a bit pricy. Ramen soup is probably cooked with a lot of fat, sugar, and chicken stock because it tastes utterly sweet. If you cook at home, you’d know the ramen soup most have a lot of something else. I do like the mini scallops in the seafood salad.

This place simply knows how to please their customers. Constantly with a very welcoming demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, constantly fresh and neat.

Absolutely a spot worth visiting, the food is excellent and well prepared, the cost is fair and it is regularly well organized in here. Great work.

Delicious and wonderful. This is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in San Mateo.

6 STARS *My favorite restaurant in the world* These folks are the best. I love their Chuka. After having tried close to everything on their menu, there are only a handful of things I wouldn't order again. Super friendly staff. Clean facilities. Lovely menus. Tasty draft beers. This review does not do their food justice, but the longer I write the hungrier I get!!Only con: they're getting a wee bit pricey. Still totally worth.

Yu-Raku is different from any Japanese, Chinese or Ramen place on the Peninsula. Their food is consistent and their menu is simple. The staff is warm and friendly. Patience is rewarded greatly here. You usually get one dish at a time, but the food is great.
