Delicious food. Rated $$ but definitely at least $$$ so it was much more expensive than we were expecting. Not much of a selection for my husband and kids so there was really nothing special about their food at twice (the expected) price.

Absolutely the best place for a meal. Great food. Best desserts and fantastic service. The bar is top notch also. Would recommend for a business lunch or a first date. Sure to impress.

Went to J. Alexander's to celebrate my brother's birthday. The website wouldn't let me make a reservation online for our large group. So I called the restaurant and spoke with Manager Jonathan Mireles. He told me on the phone he would take good care of us as he would be working when we wanted to be there. He certainly did. Our wait staff was very friendly, the food was amazing, and they even had a birthday candle when we forgot ours for the cake. We had a great experience, and you will too.

This was an excellent choice! I had a great salad called a Cypress Salad. Chicken, bacon, pecans and excellent croutons. I mad a comment about them, and the waiter said they were made of cornbread. A nice touch! The ambiance of the place is nice. Would be a great place for a date or special occasion. The service was great and everyone in my party was pleased with their choice. I heard a lot of good comments about the pecan-crusted trout. Will definitely be back.

Alexander's never disappoints! Started with their Caesar salad and what a great start. Next was the rack of baby back ribs. Oh my goodness - soft, succulent meat falling from the bones! Homemade Cole slaw with kale is simply delicious and with a glass of wine - just delightful. My favorite restaurant in SA!

We've been to this restaurant quite a bit and it is actually one of my favorites. My meal last night was okay. I usually go for the NYO mac n cheese but the entire bottom was burnt. It was valentines day, so im going to assume that they were busy. However, the steak was great. Other than that, nothing special that set it apart from any other restaurant.

Fantastic! Had an excellently prepared steak paired with outstanding service by Grady. All of their staff was friendly and polite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! 5 stars!Came back again tonight and had Felicity as the waitress who did a GREAT job! Brandon the manager runs a tight ship. He made sure to check on me as he noticed I was back from the night before and even took the extra step of making conversation with me for a few minutes at my table knowing I was in from out of town. This place goes above and beyond!

Delicious every time! I was impressed with the staff. Grady was our server, HE DESERVES A RAISE!! Great C/S! I give him 5 stars!!!

Some of best Italian in town . Def come during week and be prepared to wait on weekends. Parking out front usually can get a spot. Kylie Jenner was just seen here. I always get the large meat ball with speghetti is the best
