A bit of a higher price, portions are huge though but well worth it. Excellent food. Love the breakfast.

This place is fantastic. It starts off with looking at a building that could be 3 star restaurant, when you walk in it gives you classic diner vibes. The ordering process is super simple, the lady was kind, soft spoken and quiet so it was hard to hear her. After you order you pick your seat and you get paged when your food is ready. The portions they give you is ridiculous, in a good way. Homemade sauce for the Benny's, omelettes are huuuuge. Looking around and seeing everyone else's portions just shows it wasn't ours. The music they place is a great choice, whoever picked the station (I'm not sure if it's always the same) but if you're reading this and you picked the music, you are not being paid enough. Definitely became one of our favourite restaurants.

My parents courted at the Davie St location in the 70s and brought us to the Surrey location in the 90s through the 10s. I have great memories of this place and always look forward to the chance to return. Infact I returned just this past weekend with my parents. I highly recommend the cheese cake. 6 out of 5 stars!

One of our favorite places to eat. Great variety of food for adults and kids. Price is very good as the portions are very generous. You will now leave here hungry. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great food, price and service

Cafeteria style restaurant where you order your food at the counter, they give you a buzzer, wait for it to buzz and your food is ready! Grab your own everything, cutlery, napkins, ketchup, etc. The food is great; our custom omelette was huge and made to order. Strawberry waffle is fantastic. Nostalgic decor yet clean and not pretentious. Abundant parking right outside. Free WiFi. Reasonable prices. Beer and bar food during game nights with live TV. What more could anyone ask for? The perfect restaurant for the ordinary man like myself.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it’s always going to be one of my favourite restaurants. The old school decor and music is the best, and the portions are super big, it’s amazing. I’ve taken friends here and they’ve taken their friends here as well and I’m really happy more and more people enjoy Fresco’s like I did when I was a kid.

Big meals for I think good prices. You can order a mashroom sandwich for 2 person. Good back ground songs. caring staff. I liked it.

The food is great. Good sized portions. So much so that I shared their Special omelet with a friend and it was plenty for both of us. The ambiance is nothing much though. Cafeteria style service, so you order your food and then pick it up when it's ready. That's not an issue for me, so I will be back!

We've always enjoyed coming here! Great food for reasonable prices! Good place to come with the family or coworkers. Will definitely come again and again!

This place is a total blast from the past. Their menu is extensive and the portions are very generous. But consistency is a big problem for these guys. Depending on who is manning the grill menu items will be noticably different. When the owner makes a burger, it's perfect, when the B crew makes the same item it will either be burnt and or a dripping mess. If you don't see an older gentleman in a chefs hat when you walk in then do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat.

Hadn't been in years and it was exactly how I left it and how I remembered the location back on Davie Street from way back in the 80's. Nothing fancy cafeteria style grill with oversize desserts in the stainless steel coolers. Grab a tray and your choice of pie, cake or cheesecake. The burgers are still ridiculously large and served open face with a generous serving of fries. Had a mushroom burger and it was very tasty. Good place to feed hungry teens.

Fresh bread, nicely presented food. although I think the garden salad should have had more veggies in it... it had only like 3 tomatoes, a couple peppers and a few cucumbers, it was still good. I definitely like this restaurant and would like to come back. I really would love to try some of they're baked goods from the bakery and many other dishes from they're menu. the service here was ok.

Classic diner experience. Good selection of tasty food, sports on the TV. The owner is old school with uniformed kitchen staff. The decor is dated, the music is 80's, but the food is top notch.
