They're very nice and the food is awesome

My first time there & the experience was nothing short of amazing! MARVIN (our server) was DELIGHTFUL, WITTY & CHARMING!!!The food (Veggie Soup & Loin Mein Combination Plate) was fresh, seasoned well, a plenty quantity & most of all on time! I'll def. will be back & recommend to every1 I know!😁👏🍜🍵🍽😋👏👏👏

Been going to this restaurant for decades now and has never disappointed me. The food is good and service is good although I wouldn’t say is the best Chinese food I’ve had. Sometimes it’s very packed but for a reason, prices are fair.

Sets the standard for Chinese food in NOLA. Service is great. Portions are large. Menu is large and varied. Great place to order multiple dishes and everyone share. Shrimp and candied pecans as well as Sesame Chicken are two of the best dishes.

Variety of options, fast service, friendly staff. Portions were good and prices are medium in range.

Egg rolls were perfect. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. We got the take-out halfway home and couldn't help but diving in. The smell was intoxicating!

It's rare that I fill out surveys but the service has gone down hill each time we visit. Asked for extra napkins but did not get them until the check arrived.

Disappointed. The lady who took my take out order seemed to be in a bad mood. Combination fried rice did not have any taste. Shrimp in the rice were very small with large black veins, disgusting. I been going to Five Happiness for over 30 years, this was the worse experience in both taste and quality of the food.

The food is good, quick service, but the portion sizes are rather small for the price. You can get twice as much food and cheaper at other places. I paid like $13 for a plate that costs $6-7 other places. Wanted to find out what the hype was about...

This was the best Chinese food I've had in years! Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! He portions were huge! Had to make ourselves stop eating because qe were so full, but it was so good! Service was excellent. Moderately priced. A real bargain. Will DEFINITELY be back!

I have been enjoying this establishment for over 25 years. I love the food. I only give it four stars because I was once spoiled when they butterflied their shrimp but they no longer do this and it is quite disappointing. Also, they changed their plumb wine and I have to tell you, the new plumb wine is gross. Go back to the other plumb wine, please. Otherwise, we still love this place, we just don't order the wine. :)
