Over the top atmosphere, great service, good food.

The Fat Lady is a great restaurant right near Jack London Square. The food was superb and the cocktails were phenomenal. Definitely adding this to our list of favorites!

Very good breakfast and brunch location near Jack London Square on the Oakland waterfront. The atmosphere is kind of dark, but it helps give the restaurant a warm feel. The ciabatta toast was a nice twist, as was the complimentary muffin tray. Potatoes and eggs were good, as was the coffee. I would give it five stars, but for $20, I would have liked to have seen a larger portion of steak. If I’m back in the East Bay, I will definitely stop by.

Feel like a mobster or someone meeting their secret lover. Atmosphere is everything, don't worry about the food.

The Lamb Chops were absolutely delicious. I would also highly recommend the Calamari. The place has a wonderful vibe to it that was decorated after Halloween. Unfortunately, you seem to need a reservation to be sat, but we were welcomed at the bar. Would highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Family owned. Great cocktails. And the Halloween/Christmas decorations are just outstanding! Like you've never seen a anything like it.

Really great 16 oz steaks, atmosphere, and service!!! Cooked to perfection and full of savory flavor! Our servers Olivia and Enrique were on their game and made our experience special. Will be glad to come back for more!

Flavor: AService: ASolo dining: CAfter much research, we had made this our top pick for dinner on our night in Oakland. Apparently we didn't do enough research to figure out that a reservation would be needed. So the great impression of this place started when the hostess figured out how to seat us despite our poor planning. If you like whiskey-based drinks, try the cocktail that has a fancy name starting with B. I had the rack of lamb and it was deliciously and uniquely flavorful. And perfectly cooked. The potatoes and Brussels were also great. For dessert, we both got cheesecake and enjoyed every light and fluffy bite. Our waiter was always attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is this oddly beautiful overly-done step-back-in-time while embracing all the weirdness. We loved our evening with The Fat Lady.

Great hidden gem! This is more of a restaurant than a bar. It has great food and unique cocktails and desert drinks. The decor is something worth experiencing as well.

Although the food was amazing, it was overpriced for portion. I don't want to be a Fat Lady, but I left there hungry considering I paid 30$ for my meal. I was disappointed by communication/service as well. They would not give me the guest password for wifi even though the guest wifi showed up. Didn't sit near the kitchen, very noisy. The decor is cool. Bon appétit!
