Great little restaurant that I visited on a whim while in town. The folks were so welcoming and friendly, and the food was SO good! Definitely have to come back, especially for the yams and hot-water cornbread. Southern homecooking for sure.

Best down-home cooking I have ever had from a restaurant. Every visit I make brings back intense memories of my childhood, growing up eating grandma's home cooking. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is cooked fresh right in front of you and served fast. I can't think of anywhere else where someone could get the same experience of southern hospitality and food.

The service & atmosphere was great. It was a blast from the past. Everything from the dishes to the decor was like I imagine the 60's offered. The menu was typical of a diner and the coffee wasn't anything to write home about. But we got great customer service. If we are in the area again - I will be sure to stop by.
