Have to say, as far as I'm concerned, this restaurant has the best carne asada burrito in the South Bay. Bold statement, I know. I'm a foodie kinda guy, and I don't want to eat it, if it's not good. One of my complaints with any Carne Asada meal, is dry and/or burnt meat. This restaurant seems to get this. Flavorful, well spiced, but not excessive. Fully cooked, but not overcooked, and always trimmed out with good Pico de Gallo , good guac and all that you want in a top shelf burrito. Highly recommended :D

This place has really good food. Their specials are great and they have some of the best salsa around. If you like heat and flavor, their roasted jalapenos are consistently cooked just right.

My wife and I enjoy the Hashbrown burrito. They also have a very special salsa which has fresh cut tomatoes and just a little bit of spice that I know true salsa eaters would love to enjoy. Its for those who love salsa flavor and Not the burn.... :/ Salsa is to enhance your food, not burn and numb your taste buds. I wish all Cotijas had THIS special salsa which can only be found at the Bonita Cotijas.

Food was great. We were not given plates when our food came. We were eating in, not ordering to go. I asked for plates so we could serve the food and eat. They told us to rip the lid off and use that as a plate. Every one else had plates. We were the only interracial family there. It was a bit embarrassing to rip the lid off and serve my kids, but we complied. That kinds ruined the experience for us.

I love the food, the burritos here are huge and delicious. The salsa is beyond spicy, and that green salsa IS NOT GUACAMOLE. Don't make the same mistake as me. The waters are all handmade not syrups. The drive thru makes this place a great option.

When you have a late night craving for Mexican fast-food in Bonita and all the other taco shops are closed, head on over to Cotijas. While the other places close between 9-10pm, this place is open till 11pm during the week, and 12am on weekends. Food is great and served in generous portions.
