Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant

A beautiful gem that I didnt know existed. I was here for a wedding and was impressed with the service, the food, and the ambience. I look forward to my next visit.

I’ve been to the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant a few times, once for a wedding. The location takes you right out of the city to a serene location. The wedding I attended in the fall was breathtaking and the food was incredible. We have gone for dinner and brunch and each time the staff was so accommodating for our diets. The owner is a vegan so it was really easy for the kitchen to suggest items and accommodate. There was even a vegan dessert!! The interior is rustic warm and inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful. Will defiantly going back!

I was able to celebrate my anniversary recently at the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, polite and helpful. The food was delicious. We had the lamb which was absolutely fantastic. The ambiance of the location was romantic and warm. Overall I would definitely recommend the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant.

This was one of, if not the best dinner I've ever had. The staff was exceptional, the food was unbelievable, the location is easy to get to and absolutely beautiful. We will be back indefinitely. The sutf and turf is something dreams are made of.

This a great place for that romantic getaway or a date night. The food is really filling and tastes great. Staff is really friendly and the selection of beers are great as well.

Great spot, lots of parking. Food is delicious and service was really good. Very cozy and can easily accommodate larger groups.

That was my first time to try their food. It was a group of 14 people to get together to enjoy tacos.I ordered 4 tacos of CARNE CON CHILE (Alberta beef short rib slow braised with chocolate, chiles, and beer). Even though, I couldn't detect the taste of chilies and chocolate but I was still able to get a taste a beer flavour. I also did enjoy the foods very much!

The food is always fresh and very delicious. Love coming here with my family!

Oh what a gem in the south of the city of Calgary. Make reservations get a spot close to the fireplace and settle in for an evening of fine dining and relaxing ambiance. Our server Martin was amazing and made the experience memorable. Very knowledgeable and sociable all night. The food and drinks were amazing and service second to none. Perfect for a special occasion as we celebrated our anniversary there.

Arriving at the Fish Creek Provincial Park was a delightful introduction to the magnificent Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant. Despite its wonderful setting this restaurant is Calgary's hidden gem. The house has been beautifully restored to fit it's new function without loosing the integrity and history of this origninal building. The menu was diversified as was the wine list. The food we chose was beautifully presented and delicious. It's a restaurant that lends itself to a casual lunch, intimate dinner or a special event.....in other words the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant has it all, so locals and visitors alike can enjoy their own unique experience.

Attended the monthly Cork and Cuisine event co-hosted in collaboration with Willow Park Wine. Chef created a delicious 4-course Moroccan-style menu. The wine pairings complemented the meal beautifully. The service was terrific. A really lovely evening. Great value! 🙂🍽🥂

One of the best restaurants in Calgary. Always interesting and flavourful dishes.I wanted to post photos.. but forgot to take them because I only remembered after I ate everything.

Great food, location AND service all in the same restaurant? This is very unusual for Canada. Usually it's 1/3 or maybe 2/3 if it's really good but this place has it all! Probably my new favorite restaurant in Calgary. Be careful though... there is a ghost on the 2nd floor.

I expected more from The Ranch. The food is great - really great. The issue was just how rushed everything is. They have A LOT of staff, all very busy, so what ends up happening is that there is no time to linger. It really wasn't a place to relax and enjoy a dinner. If you are in a hurry, you will probably like this place, but we were hoping for a more relaxed evening. They were so 'efficient' they cleared my martini with a quarter left in it. Please let me finish and let me enjoy the experience.

Incredible staff and venue. One of my best friends got married here and I just cannot get over how perfect everything was. The staff were polite and respectful and followed through on every little request the happy couple made, no matter how bizzare they thought it was. They went out of their way to ensure the evening was perfect. It was so appreciated by the couple and it made the wedding parties jobs that much easier. It was so great to see the staff really understood what this day meant for the couple and their guests. Great food, amazing staff, incredible venue.
