Had the tonkatsu. Really nice...hubby had the spicy miso and was also pleased. Get the pork buns...So good! Small place, so get there early. Cash only.

First time visiting. Decor is super cute. I have ordered spicy ramen on the go. Portion was generous and when I arrived to eat I saw that there was a dish within a dish - bigger one holding liquids while smaller one had all it the addings. It was spicy and tasty.

Great joint, super nice staff, amazing ramen. A great addition to the RVC restaurant scene.

This was sooo good, everything is so fresh and made perfect, the dishes have great flavors and colors. I would recommend this place and I would go back again. The people are so nice and give great service and the best part is, it’s not that expensive. Enjoy !

This was really good ramen! They only take cash so be prepared! This is my second ramen restaurant I've been to & I have to say it's my new favorite. The decor is quirky & the music was good. I finished my entire bowl!! Yummy in my tummy!

As you walk down the street lined by English tavern type bars you approach an unassuming red canopy, walk in if you dare.... if you should be so bold you will find bowls and bowls of squiggly, warm & cozy deliciousness!! 8 Ramen is a fresh arrival in RVC and we will most definately be back again and again!!

8 Ramen was my first experience with legit (non packaged) ramen, and I really enjoyed my the meal. It's quite a unique setting especially in Rockville Centre. The seating consists of long tables where you're seated with other patrons which was an interesting and social experience.I'm also a fan of the decor of the restaurant, it does feel like a ramen restaurant from an anime. However, I disliked the music selection. It was like coffee-shop acoustic covers of American pop songs. I was hoping and expecting for J-Pop or acoustic Japanese pop songs.I also dislike that they don't serve alcohol and only accept cash, but the food is wonderful.

Awesome atmosphere. Great music fast and informative staff. Seems to be very authentic aside from only offering wax noodle and spinach noodles. Tasty all the same tho.

I honestly loved the food and customer service, fantastic area very close to my apartment. The workers are always super nice. Will visit here again.
