They have one hell of clean convenience store in an upscale neighborhood with very polite employees. The selection of drinks, snacks, tobacco, and miscellaneous items is in very good shape. The gas is little more expensive than some of the options in Rancho Bernardo and Rancho Penesquitos but those are much further away.

Gas here is cheaper than my usual haunts in Mira Mesa! Since it's on my relaxing non-freeway drive home from work, I stopped today. 4 stars, didn't go inside, just got gas. If you're coming from the west (driving east), whatever you do, don't turn in at the stop light, you have to loop behind the station on a narrow street. Pass the stop light and turn into the driveway after it!Coming from the east (driving West), do a U turn and hit that driveway.
