We've been there on 2 separate occasions. Each time we went for bingo, but got there early so we could eat dinner. The meals were good, prices reasonable. Our server Becca was fantastic. Checked up on us often (but not too much). We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again!

First time visit and pleasantly surprised. Home made fries from cut potatoes, not greasy. Coleslaw is good. Mushroom swiss burger was perfectly cooked, and was not dry. Good quality ingredients and friendly service. Also, they offer all burgers made with turkey or veggie burger for an up charge and there is a gluten free bun option. The mojito was really good. Only criticism is I wish the tables were totally wiped clean when we arrived. Definitely recommend for casual dining.

They had a hard time bringing out what we wanted. When they did bring out what we wanted we unfortunately found hair in our food. The manager said he didn’t have anyone with long hair working in the kitchen. They made it right but then I got a drink that tasted like pepper was added to it not sure how that happened drinking a Jameson ginger. Not gonna be able to go back

The staff and service are awesome. Even when they are busy, Amy, Chris and the manager always take the time to say hi and see how I am. Being an okder person, it makes it nice knowing that non family members care. Awesome staff.

Very good bar and grill fare. Having been to Matt's Bar many times, I had been meaning to try the 5-8s Juicy Lucy, it lived up to my hopes and somewhat beyond. Good selection, good waitstaff, no wait. Worth the trip. Only detractors were the temperature (very cold inside), and the overworked waitstaff. Definitely adding this place to the list of places to go!

I would rate this a 4.8 but I can’t. So I love this place. And I love the food and drinks. If your looking for a 5-8 Grill & Bar this is the place. Definitely. The place your looking for.

Loved the food, the waitress was good. A little slow at the end but there was indeed a lot of people coming in. Nice and quiet atmosphere.First time and last time here tho. They have become solicitors and guilt you into their fundraisers at the end of your tab. Too bad - seemed like a nice relaxing restaurant until that point.

It’s a dive! Great place, great burgers. Didn’t know Minnesotans were so down home. Was with two Japanese coworkers and they felt comfortable.

We like their breakfast menu. We usually go to different places each weekend, but we've gone here three Sundays in a row.The breakfast burrito is good, and so is the french toast. The chicken fried steak was OK and the white gravy could have used more spices.The staff is friendly and the service is fast.It's good for dinner too, but can be really busy on weekends or event nights.
