4th Street Filling Station

1st time and we were not disappointed! Eating brunch alfresco was great. Kori our server was exceptional. Kept champagne glass topped off without waiting(very unusual) for us to do it ourselves. Good good great service makes you 45 minute drive well worth it. Can't wait to return for dinner, menu looks great as well.

Amazing food and comparable prices. We had the Southwest breakfast bowl and the Lobster Benedict. Both were perfectly cooked and spiced. The Mimosa and Coffee we ordered were both refreshing. We took a table on the outside - which had an amazing ambience given that we went there a day after the thunderstorms died down. I would suggest this place to brunch lovers. One of the best in Winston-Salem.

Filling Station has a diverse menu, high quality ingredients and good portions, at a better-than-reasonable price for a downtown restaurant. It has the "old Salem" brick look, and atmosphere. Sunday brunch on the patio - you can't go wrong ordering any of the items from the "Benedicts" section. If you can't decide what you want for brunch, order the "Jax Stax" for a little bit of everything. For dinner, I'm addicted to the crab cakes. The fire-roasted creamed corn underneath them is absolutely delicious and fresh. You can see in my photo that there is just enough breading on the crab cakes to get some extra (very good) seasoning and a small crunch on each side, but they are mostly an abundance of jumbo lump crab meat. You can't go wrong with this entree.

Im from Indianapolis and I'm here on business. I enjoyed my experience here! The place is cozy with the candles lit on the table, brings out the old fashioned feel. My waitress was absolutely amazing. I did not feel uncomfortable once at this place. I dined with two coworkers, one ordered the rib eye and the other ordered flank steak. They smashed!!! They had zero complaints! I ordered the jambalaya and OMG! OH SO GOOD! I definitely will dine here again if I visit.

My first time at the filling station. The atmosphere was cool has an old school vibe. Enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich for lunch the food was hot and tasty. Ate it before I could take a photo.

I came here to The Old Fourth Street Filling Station for a date night and it was a wonderful experience! It was memorial day so the restaurant wasn't too busy, and we got seated right away. Our waiter was extremely nice and attentive to refilling our drinks regularly. The food was delicious, and I was happy to see the small menu - a great sign that a restaurant is skilled in cooking a select number of dishes. I'll definitely be back in the future!

Great place to eat. Good food. I had the salmon for lunch. It was cooked well and very tasty. The most expensive item was around $15 at lunch. Nice atmosphere. You could eat inside or outside. The wait staff was very nice.

Nice experience. Mahi Mahi with crab very good. Husband had filet, which he said was good. Been here several times, always pleased with food and experience.

Classy place with a nice ambiance. Great place for brunch for the family and delicious food. Would definitely return again!

I really really enjoy this place.been there twice now. And the sweet little waitress named Maggie was the sweetest little thing. She makes sure that everything is perfect and that you are satisfied 110% satisfied.

Could Not have asked for a better experience. We came as a party of 8 and they promptly please seated us. Chad was such a wonderful waiter and was very kind. He also took his time with my brother who has disabilities. I am always impressed when someone is kind to others with special needs. We had a wonderful relaxing evening with exceptional food. We ordered so many different things yet everything was cooked to perfection, very hot and Delicious. We brought Family with us and friends from Colorado and Sunset Beach North Carolina. We will definitely be returning. Again this is a very relaxing establishment With great service ,food and ambience.

We had a reservation of 11. Everything food wise was perfect. Drinks took some time to get. We sat in the covered patio area and it was heated and the lighting was in point. My flank steak was cooked to perfection 💎We all had a great time.👏🏼🙌🏼

I have been many times and for the price you cannot get better quality in town

I haven't been here in at least 10 years and I was not disappointed. The chicken salad was exactly as I remembered it. The burgers were outstanding! Thanks for being a great place to get together with family and friends.
