3 Amigos Mexican Bar & Grill

There amigos doesn't need another 5 star review, yet here it is. During this Covid craziness, I've ordered pickup once and delivery via Postmates. Both experiences were GREAT. Wicked tasty food. The shrimp tacos....on point. The shredded beef??? Damn. Even the chips, cheese, salsa and guac were ballertastic. To shelf food here for sure!

Seriously the best food! I love the authenticity of this place. The staff hustles when it’s busy and still keep a great attitude. You might have a small wait but TRUST me, it’s worth it. The patron margarita was refreshing and yummy! I ordered the steak fajitas and the tortillas were fresh, and the steak was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend ordered the chimichanga with chicken. Truly an enjoyable hole in the wall! Kudos!

Great food every time. Great service. Small place. Easy parking. Not cheap. Definitely worth trying, if you haven't yet!

I read reviews and try places out a lot so this was my first visit. I live in the area and had a craving for Mexican cuisine. Initially the service started a little slow, but quickly regained my admiration. First, the chips and salsa. The chips had this amazing seasoning that I really loved. I had the Premium Margarita with Corazon Tequila and it was good too. Then I had 3 chicken enchiladas with refried beans and rice. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING...it was so good! I’ll definitely be back!

If you are looking for authentic (in my opinion) Mexican food then you have to test Three Amigos. The chips and salsa are great and so is everything else. They also have great drink specials. We had the veggie enchiladas and the shrimp quesadilla.

My friends eat here every week. They give you tons of food. I have had the tacos a year ago, the fajitas and tried the empanadas as my guy friends will each eat 12 individually. They are 8.99 for all you can eat so you can’t be that picky with how great they are. I have had both margaritas. I like the standard one a bit better. Once fell out of the door with one so be careful. Service is decent for the prices and they have always been lovely. Overall it’s a great place for the amount of food, the service, the prices and not being part of some 5 location Mexican chain restaurant in Charlotte.

3.5 stars really almost 4 stars. This place has a big dining room, great for crowds. There's a lot of seafood on the menu. I'm a vegetarian who doesn't eat dairy so I'm a little limited to the basics here and they don't do extra for me unless I ask, but they are always nice about it. They have buckets of beer-I think that might appeal to someone reading this.

Very nice service and authentic tasting Mexican. My chicken quesadilla was incredible. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy! Probably the best I’ve every had! Salsa was great and the chips were thick. Loved how small the place was and they had good drink specials. I’d definitely go back!

Super flavorful and wallet friendly lunch! I had the chimmichurri sandwich. Bread was on point! Servers were all pleasant and friendly. Can get packed for dinners but still with it for the margs.

Ordered some take out from here the other day and it was pretty solid. Queso with chorizo is they way to go and the enchiladas were pretty tasty too!

Perfect place to grab a healthy lunch. Quiet spot to enjoy lunch and service and parking is wonderful. My favorite us their chicken salad.

Three Amigos has consistent, high quality food, but inconsistent service and cleanliness. Everyone is friendly, but they seem frequently understaffed which impacts the customer experience. It's basic Mexican with a few margarita options. I recommend it if you're not looking for something fancy. Prices are fair.

Large portions. Attentive staff. Delicious dinners have been had here.

Best Mexican Restaurant I know of in Charlotte. Food is always amazing, and so is the staff. I definitely will return and will tell others.

Very much like other Mexican restaurant.. But person incharge was very friendly and helpful.. They managed it pretty well during the rush hours as well.. I am glad that we chose this place for a friend's birthday celebration dinner
