Very well executed Italian food from the Lombardy region in Italy's north. My party could not find a flaw in any of the 8 dishes we ordered.There was a minor inconvenience with the fact that we were seated at 9pm for a 7:30pm reservation. It was somewhat understandable considering we were a party of 8 and the space is limited. However, some better organization would be appreciated.

The pasta was similar to what we had in Italy. Very tasty! Not thrilled with the antipasto, but the csnndloni bean appetizer was delicious! Haven't eaten the cannolis yet. We brought them home to enjoy later when not so full😂

Newly remodeled, very cosy, knowledgeable and attentive service. Amazingly delicious food. Spaghetti alla chitarra with smoked salmon, frutti di mare and roasted potatoes with portobello mushrooms are a must try. Great for a date night or a small get together with friends. Highly recommend!

Great ambience. Nice pasta selection. The food was cooked extremely well and was very tasteful. Chef Ali is very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself near lark street.

We dined just before Covid 19. Very overpriced for the quality of food. Our waiter had an attitude and made everyone uncomfortable. The chef/owner was very pretentious and took a long time to come to our table to prepare their signature dish, pasta in a cheese wheel. We literally had to ask four times for him. This was their only notable dish. No one in our party of 6 was happy with their dish and wanted to come back. I asked for extra pasta sauce and they wanted to charge $5. The bill was $500+. Are you kidding! There are so many lower cost restaurants that have better food. There are other high-end restaurants to enjoy in the Capital District. The staff and food did not live up to the atmosphere and price.

I came here as a girls night out with friends, it wasn't like it was bad going here, I just don't think I would ever return. I've been to other wine bars that give you a good variety of cheeses and spreads on their cheese boards and I felt like this place's cheese and charcuterie plate left a lot to be desired. I was still so hungry after eating through the cheese plate that me and my friend had to order a ton more food. The entrees were good but for the amount of money that we spent, I could go to a different place and get way more food (that's better) for the same price.

From a wine perspective only: we had a wine and chocolate pairing. It was fantastic I can't wait to do it again, we will be back. The experience was a bit pricey though which is why I give a 4 star for value. I believe if the combo was about $6-$8 it would be at a 'Great' valueCan't wait to try their dinner options

Nice variety on a small menu, sized for the venue. Can't wait for the opening next door! The meals are large, creative and beautiful.

Waited 30 minutes for our bottle of wine. 86 minutes for spaghetti with meatballs. Too small a kitchen and shouldn’t allow food ordering outside patio. Sits 15 tables including outside and bar count (2 person equivalent). But 2 stove 100 sqf kitchen cannot handle seating capacity.

Great food, wine and dessert. Owner/Chef very friendly and made sure we enjoyed everything. Offered several of their house Limoncello shots on the house after dinner and spoke with us for a while. Highly recommended for great ambiance and Italian food.

Our table tried two bottles of sparkling wine and they were fabulous. Everything from the octopus, to the cheese platter and the pastas were amazing. We were blown away. This gem is the epitome of fine dining in the Albany area. The food and service were impeccable. I've visited every Albany and Saratoga "hot spot" and 288 Lark is definitely a wonderful fine dining experience in the capital region. Ali is incredibly hands on and the menu hits classic, Italian food, NOT the oily, cheesy mess you find in most other cookie cutter places.
