This is an extraordinary dining experience in a very unique setting! The food is savoury and the taste pairings are delicious. Take time to experience this local if you're in the area, you will not regret it.

I loved the ambiance of the establishment. From the smoky smell coming from the fireplace to the simple Christmas décor. Our waiter was attentive and the food was delicious. I was hoping to come across a little paranormal activity, considering it's the oldest tavern in the US, but no such luck. I will definitely go back.

Incredible food and drinks. Great ambiance. Our server Sean B. had great suggestions for us and even hooked us up with some items not on the menu. Go to this place!

The history and food were great. The service was okay and, for what we paid, should've been better.

Food was amazing and you can't beat the history. Worth a stop while in Newport. Skip the water front restaurants, they are not nearly as good for the same price.

The rustic tavern is charming and well worth the trip. Upscale but very comfortable. The room was full but not noisy which we loved. The chicken dish and risotto dish with lots of roasted vegetables got good reviews from my guests. The scallop dish was skimpy for $36. 4 scallops and barely a dollop of risotto. Truthfully, we were annoyed. Staff were friendly and attentive.
