Great location! Perfect for professional after hour meetings.

This was my first time coming here. I was immediately taking in the ambiance of the restaurant. Intimate and comfortable. The hostess was great. Our server Hailey was just amazing. The grilled salmon and vegetables were perfect. The drinks were perfect. Whoever was the chef and cooking staff you were beyond amazing! I’m definitely coming back. ❤️🍴🍸

The ambience, the service, and presentation was excellent, however the food itself was disappointing. I read reviews and looked at the pictures and thought I'd try something new. Again everything but the taste of the food was excellent. It was pretty bland. It looked more appetizing than it taste. From the appetizer down to our entree was tasteless. A big let down.

Sunday, September 15th, 2019. My wife and I have frequented this establishment many times. We have noticed that over the past few times: 1. Service has declined (today... IMMENSELY DECLINED) Bartender took care of drinks, not anything else at ALL. We had to clear our own dishes by placing them on another table while the bartender giggled with other college students.2. Quality of food has declined greatly.3. Taste of food has declined greatly.4. Patronage has declined. 1801 started as a mid to high end restaurant. It has now declined to a point that guests are now having to dine with college students that are in their pajamas and slippers. My wife and I were once college students as well, and understand the life of a college student, but, a certain dress attire should be maintained.

The service was great. The servers did an awesome job in taken care of us. The food was interesting (some of it too spicy).

I chose 1801 Grille due to the wonderful reviews that I saw online. I was not disappointed. Our server Leland was absolutely wonderful she checked on us, she took our picture, and was all around a great server. I had the Brick Oven Chicken, which was delicious, however my crispy brussel sprouts were a little over cooked as was the Lemon Cake. I sampled other food at the table and they were delicious. So, that is my only critique. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice and I thought it was nice place to celebrate my birthday with friends.

I’m writing this review because of the effort!! I travelled across town for a good black bean or veggie burger, once I arrived I found out there were on a limited menu. I understood this under the circumstances but before I could walk away the young lady upfront checked with the chef and was more than willing to deviate from the menu to make one veggie burger. The staff was awesome!! The establishment has a lot of positive reviews and deservingly so. I encourage anyone and everyone to eat here. The hospitality is A-1 hands down!

Went here as a group for a lunch and the manager insisted that we sign a Large Party Contract and split 15 individual meals between 4 credit cards-highly inappropriate. We had been seated by the hostess and served without being asked to sign a contract so naturally we refused. In recorded, he insisted on splitting our table in two. The wait staff and meal were good but the manager was a huge disappointment and very unprofessional.

Food was really good, nice atmosphere.

This place was so good when they first opened. They've gone downhill greatly ever since. The last three times I've gone is been disappointing. I got the southern chopped salad today. It was so small for an entree salad and was 90% or more lettuce (wilted slightly at that). Ridiculous that they charge $9 for this. Wendy's salad are larger, include meat and are close to half the cost! My fiance got the rueben sandwich and they stacked the two halves to make it look big like it used to be. I actually had to ask if the accidentally gave him a half sandwich. The bread wasn't toasted much, so it got soggy almost immediately. He's ordered this before and it had more meat kraut and properly held up. Such a disappointment. We loved this place but it just continues to disappoint.

The hostess and my waiter were not very friendly at all. This was actually my first time dining here. The food was good I had the strawberry walnut salad and the french onion soup for lunch. Hopefully next time the hostess and waiter will be a little more friendly. A hello when I walked through the door would have been nice!

Great spot! Awesome food with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Every dish at our table was/looked amazing. Loved the atmosphere with open kitchen, huge bar area, high top tables, booths and a nice covered patio with cornhole set up outside. If you're in the area you must stop by. Highly recommend.

Best brunch of had in a very long time! They had amazing drinks and even better food. You can't beat a $15 all you can eat buffet and $15 bottomless mimosas. Great service treated customers with utmost respect. Good job guys, keep it up. Absolutely a must return when in Columbia again!

Meh, my experience was nothing special. Server seemed preoccupied, brought me the wrong beer and never did bring the water I requested. My meal was tepid, the mashed sweet potato’s were too sweet and the green beans were drenched in sauce. The edges of a pizza someone in our party had were burnt black, though the center was great. Everything seemed lackluster from the time we entered until we left. Will be willing to give it another try and chalk it up to an off night, but a similar experience and I would consider twice about returning.
