The food was EXCELLENT!! However, servers could use a little polishing. I used my dinner fork for our appetizer of mussels. We were sharing and never given plates, so we used our bread plates for the mussels. Bread came out after we were done. We were apologized to and told that the bread was still FROZEN.Guess it isn't made fresh on site??

The food and ambience at 1741 at Hotel B are awesome. The waiter we had was very friendly and attentive as well. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the host staff was not at all accommodating. We walked in and may half the tables were being used, but they refused to seat us, instead telling us to sit at a bar. We ended up sitting at a high top as there was no space at the bar. For the hour and a half I was there, numerous tables were never used. Maybe next time you have numerous empty tables and clearly no reservations for them, seat paying customers instead of giving them a snoody glare when you sit at a high top.Make sure you have a reservation if you plan on ever eating here.

The food was great! The staff very kind. It's a bit expensive, but it's worthy. I went during restaurant week, so I end up having a great cost benefit. The view of the sunset was gorgeous. I'll definitely will come back

Within five days I have had an opportunity to savor a lobster roll at two different locations in Bethlehem, Pa. The first opportunity was at 3rd and Ferry and the second one was at the Hotel Bethlehem. Both had similar pricing. Both had an ample amount of lobster. The difference, between the two, was the lobster roll at the Hotel Bethlehem was twice as large as the one at 3rd & Ferry. The other difference was our wait staff, while the waiter at 3rd & Ferry was efficient, Kadija at the Hotel Bethlehem made our dining experience wonderfully entertaining.

Great brunch! A little pricey, but an outrageous assortment of really well prepared foods. Upscale old fashioned ambiance.
