168 Sushi Asian Buffet

A bit of a disappointment compared to the other 168 sushi restaurants i’ve been to. As we walk in, our hostess is trying her best to provide our water etc, but an older man (manager?) is constantly nagging her about how she doesn’t know how to do her job, and talking about her to another worker, even though her service seems fine to me. Then i realize they don’t even have tuna at all anywhere on the menu. We went during dinner time too. Tuna sashimi is a standard on all sushi buffet menus, and the price was standard compared to other places too, even though they were missing tuna. Not too bad considering the available food, but the manager? guy set a weird mood and the lack of tuna wasn’t the greatest.

Have been here lots of times, love the sushi and sashimi. Wish there were more dessert options though. Last week we came and I got food poisoning. So, sadly, I don’t think I will be coming back.

The best all you can eat sushi menu! They have make your own roll options it’s amazing! Food is very fast! Service is your typical all you can eat restaurant service so don’t expect much. Prices are great!

Updating review to 1 star for horrible service.Friday night, busy time at the buffet, extremely slow service - no problem, we will wait. After the excruciatingly painful service time (place order, wait 30 min to have someone bring it, rinse and repeat, we were told that we had to start packing up and leaving as there is a 2 hour limit - when we were there for only around 1:30 with a group of 4.Would be nice if we actually had more than a bite size ration of food and acceptable (hint, not even good, acceptable would be nice!) service.Won’t come here again.

I went there because of a recommendation from a friend. I went for lunch on the weekend the place was crowded and busy but the service was fair. I have some issues with the quality of the food though, the rolls are HUGE but little pieces of salmon or tuna inside. They have a good cold buffet for crab salad and shrimp. But the seaweed salad is not good i think there might be some food colors with it.The hand rolls were mainly rice with traces of meat!! Te grilled ribs were awesome though. But The deal breaker was the mackerel grilled fish. It was so bad and old that I only ate a quarter of it then threw up an hour later!! My friends didn’t get sick or threw up so I guess i am over sensitive a little bit. But the food is definitely not fresh. The drinks were generic substitute ( I ordered fanta and they got me some sparkling water with orange flavor) They don’t accept debit, it is cash or credit only.

The sushi place was alright for lunch, alright price with decent choice of sushi’s. The server was decently bid for the request I had for them. Warning do not order to much sushi at the beginning because they gonna come late when your finish

Honestly its a sushi buffet so you must keep your expectation in check. However, unlike many other sushi buffet they do not skimp out. The sushi’s and tempuras are always very well stuffed. The food has always been pretty good but the cake that was provided in the cold plate do suffer from freezer burn. I would suggest perhaps better wrapping the desserts if you are going to keep them for a while.

So they removed Sushi Rose from Lunch menu, which is disappointing. Heart Sushi still has Sushi Rose in lunch. Also their interiors is just so dark like night club. Much prefer Bright environment in Heart sushi. Their servers messed up my orders twice. I was waiting 20min to get my right order. I will never come back to 168. Disappointing.

Very good quality food and very fast service. Definitely coming back

I went to this restaurant with my Fiance and we had a wonderful meal and time. Although the location of the servers desk can be a bit distracting as the servers are always moving past you and it is just mildly annoying. The service is great and we never had to wait for any service. The food is very good. The adult dinner buffet is $29.00 per person and for lunch 11-3:30pm it is around $19.00. If you are hungry and in the mood for great food and great service then come here and have a great time.

Food is very fast! Service is your typical all you can eat restaurant service so don’t expect much. Prices are great!
