Their menu sucks. It’s not very descriptive! I ordered stir-fried broccoli. When it arrived, it was basically lightly sautéed broccoli with slivered garlic. No sauce, no flavors, nothing. I ate it with rice and it was VERY DRY! Two thumbs down.

Best Chinese food in the Metropolitan area. This is a no frills establishment. Don't come here looking for decor, trendy settings or anything other than high quality food.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The food comes in very generous portions at a reasonable price. It was so good that I ended up coming back a second time during my brief visit to DC. I’d highly recommend their duck, which is flavorful with a nice, crispy skin. Also be sure to sample one of the lamb dishes and a tofu dish.

Solid Chinese restaurant, with several authentic (non-Americanized) dishes if you know what to look for on the menu. I recommend the Sichuan crispy dry pepper chicken and the shredded pork with tofu. Fast delivery, too - I live 7 blocks away and delivery is rarely more than 30 minutes.

Friendliest staff around. The food is the best Chinese food I've had in DC (and I've lived here for 26 years). Their chicken fried rice and their shredded garlic chicken are beyond compare!

Thus is the best Asian food in the Logan circle area. What I love most is that you can ask fir a specific texture. I do their kung pow tofu and ask for extra crunchy and spicy. They add extra corn start here and make it work.

The chicken & eggplant with garlic sauce was yummy.

To the owners: Please re-open soon! You're allowed to offer take-out and delivery so there is no reason to be closed. Yuko needs her Dan-Dan noodle soup!Review: Great neighborhood Chinese spot. Best spring rolls in the city, maybe ever!? The crispy squid appetizer is the best single dish on 14th street. The American-style Chinese food (Orange Chicken etc etc) are just OK, but you're probably better off just going across the street to Yums if that's what you want. The authentic Chinese (DanDan, crispy duck, all sorts of curries, etc etc) dishes are all excellent and among the best in DC.

My favorite place. My husband and I do our Sunday date lunch here. I prefer this place over many. Love the staff and quaintness of the establishment. If you like spicy tempura try the salt/pepper seafood (shrimp, squid and scallops with jalapeno pepper)😛

Bleh. Had hi Hope's because menu looked interesting. I now know all Chinese spots in DC are horrible.
