129 Center Cut

Food is excellent here. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The restaurant is odd though because the menu had some amazing steaks like a fine steakhouse. But the atmosphere is more of a sports bar. TVs on the walls and fairly loud music. Plus items on the menu like pizza and burgers. All in all really good food but difficult to hold a conversation over the music.

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this great place. happy to tell that we had a incredible evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for that strong event. The crew collaborated in a sweet manner, the cooking was delicious and my buddies were so joyful. We shall surely return for more events. Thank you very much.

The overall ambience of center cut is phenomenal. It is by far one of the most quaint restaurants in Grayslake. We were served freshly baked bread upon being seated and were well attended to throughout our meal. The fettuccine Alfredo is top notch, and while the serving size is not quite as large as say maggianos, it is quite filling. The margherita pizza came out cold and they were able to put it back in and warm it up for us without burning the crust or any of the toppings. However, even with some olive oil and red pepper, it still lacked the flavor I was expecting. The plain cheese pizza looked much better at the table next to ours.

Sasa our waiter was great! Food was served quickly. It was very tasty and ample. A good value.

Food is good, but not amazing. It is expensive for what you get. Cocktails are very good. Wait staff needs a little polishing. Better service in the bar, than the dining room.

I actually like their food and service, great area right next to where I live. The workers are always very friendly. Would recommend to others.

Been there 5 times, every time except for today has been fantastic. Today service was lackluster at best. Party of 6 and the food came out at different times. Asked for Rare on my prime rib and it was Medium. Food was still decent but the lack of service killed the ambiance.

Another great meal! Incredible stuffed mushrooms with a meatball & cheese with a red sauce. Turkey, bacon, avocado with a great sauce panini is my all time favorite sandwich. Lobster soup was tasty. Tasty and huge burger. Great service. Love the variety of different beers.

Truthfully I went there because of all the negitive posts, well I had a a great meal, place looks awesome, food was tasty and large, staff was attentive great place

What a great place to eat. Excellent service! Excellent food! Our waitress was so good to us this evening. She heard us say we were celebrating our 65th birthdays & brought us slice of cheesecake with a candle. Really appreciated her service & kindness. Thank you Center Cut!

Excellent service, beverage selections and a diverse menu. Great bar sitting area, dining area and sweet spot to talk in front of the fireplace. Definitely had social interaction when planned out. Had pretty much the entire menu over the last couple of years and never disappointed. Try the prime rib and Pizzas.

Creative dishes for a first date. A little overpriced, but good nonetheless. I'd go back.

I ordered the “King Crab Legs” and I literally got 1 crab leg cut in half and another crab leg that was probably 1/4 of a crab leg that didn’t even have meat in it! My husband ordered the “wagu”steak and lobster tail, the steak was mediocre and the lobster tail tasted like it was cooked on coals soaked in lighter fluid. The waiter was nice that was the best part about our evening. Will never go back!!

I celebrated my PhD today in this excellent restaurant. Well we had a marvelous evening and the restaurant was definitely the reason for that happy event. The crew participated in a graceful way, the meals were extremely good and my friends were extremely cheerful. We shall surely visit again for more events. thanks very much.
