If you are looking for an elegant brunch on the beach experience, this is the place! We had a 10.45 reservation, but there were a lot of empty tables where we reached. Got a nice table with smashing views. They even opened the french door next to the table so that we can experience the sea breeze. Ordered a japanese whiskey cocktail variation of a mojito. Quite refreshing. Wife ordered a rose wine cocktail without realizing that there was tequila in it. The staff was kind enough to replace it with a tasty bellini instead. Wife ordered a frittata which was topped with truffled cheese. I ordered a pastrami hash. Both dishes were good but nothing spectacular. Around $45 pp. Basically, come here for the fantastic views and service. If you are looking for a gastronomic experience, this is not the place. Coming here for a cocktail is not a bad idea as well.

Best food in Santa Monica. I’m so sorry I didn’t photograph my watermelon salad or the lobster bucatini my sister had. She has not stopped talking about it days later. A must stop at Shutters

Casa del Mar is beautiful..used to work at property when it was Pritikin..glad it was improved for earthquake..it happened during our lovely breakfast

I love love love this bar. Do yourself a favor and go. Great atmosphere and great drinks. A really fun place if you enjoy trying different cocktails and is good for date nights.

Been coming here regularly for a year now and it’s always an exceptional experience! Chef Vittorio Lucariello is not only an outstanding chef but also very welcoming and always makes us feel at home. Can’t recommend this Santa Monica gem enough!

Great service and location, especially sunset. Food was average. Squid doesn't go great with potatoes! Scallops were overcooked and soggy! Dessert was great.
