Quaint decor and good hospitality. A young man standing outside the restaurant insisted we try the restaurant. After being seated and getting the menu, whilst ordering we were informed that as there was no electricity only 2 items on menu were available. This after we were pleaded to try their lunch. Anyway as we were short of time we called for their chicken rice dish which was saffron rice with chicken leg, good Persian flavour. Must say the soup, which was complimentary,was very good.

This is amazing place quiet and comfortable. Really good food with a little bit of history where does it come from. You'll enjoy this place.

Tucked behind a building is this lovely welcoming restaurant and cafe. Westerners are often put off from trying these places but rest assured it is very friendly as to even give you a information card helping you understand how to eat their traditional complimentary appetiser. I've been here twice on two separate occasions and the food has been very nice and plentiful. Entrance is past the manikin man smoking a pipe and through the flap.

One of my favorites places in Dubai! Took my parents there and they also agreed. They loved it so much we went twice in the same week 🙊

If u want real emirate authentic food, this is the place! Its the best! Everything is delicious here. Only thing that is hard to find is parking. I recommend to just valet the car. Its only 10dirhams per hour.

Super climate, delicious food and prices, compared to other places are very affordable.

We stopped for a rest after shopping for a few hours and found this place to be charming, hospitable, with a really good service and food. Although it seems set up for the tours, I would highly recommend it for its authentic feel and good food. Our meal came with a couple of free extras they gave us an opportunity to try even more flavors. Price was very reasonableFor the excellent service and food, and for the air-conditioning, LOL

Staff is very nice, there's an air conditioned section and a open air section, very tasty and affordable food in Emirate, Persian and Indian styles, with English menus, nice staff and clean restrooms. Very close and walkable from the souqs. Highly recommended!

We went at around 8.30pm on a Thursday evening. The waiter was very nice and the food was delicious. The pricing is very reasonable! We played it safe with a salad and hummus for starters both were very nice. We stayed with the emirate menu and stepped out of our comfort zone for the main with a dried minced shark dish, this gets a big thumbs up. The place isn't easy to find but if you are at the Gold souk and feeling peckish, this is the place to go.

Food was good and delicious but horrible service 4 star for the taste and 0 star for the service He served less chicken gravy with rice and when the gravy seemed less he refused to bring anything I had to pack the left over rice.I hope this doesn't happen again to any customer.

Wonderful atmosphere service and food. We had afternoon tea there and it was such a great experience we came back for lunch the next day.
